**Job Description**:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Hairdresser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our hairdresser's studio and ensuring it runs efficiently. Your exceptional hairdressing skills and your ability to lead and inspire a team will be key to your success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional hairdressing services to clients, including cutting, styling, and coloring hair
- Stay updated with the latest hairdressing trends and techniques to offer innovative services
- Train, mentor, and motivate junior hairdressers, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and address any performance issues
- Manage the studio schedule and allocation of hairstylists, ensuring efficient workload distribution
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and organizing hairdressing supplies and products
- Ensure that the studio is clean, organized, and presentable at all times, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment
- Handle client inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a courteous and professional manner, striving to exceed their expectations
- Stay updated with industry regulations, health and safety guidelines, and sanitation practices, ensuring compliance at all times
- Collaborate with management on marketing strategies to attract and retain clients, contributing to the overall success of the business

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working as a Senior Hairdresser or a similar role
- Strong hairdressing skills and knowledge of different cutting, coloring, and styling techniques
- Excellent leadership and teamwork abilities, with a track record of successfully managing a hairdresser's studio
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and team members
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing schedules, supplies, and inventory effectively
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, hair products, and hair care techniques
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
- A valid hairdressing license/certification is required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £11.00-£40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- stylist: 2 years (preferred)
- Hairdressing: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Hairdressing NVQ/SVQ Level 2 (preferred)
