Claims Strategist

As we continue with our exciting growth and transformation, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering a best in class claims strategy for our Bodily Injury Team.

This is an opportunity to join our Hastings Direct family and directly support the delivery of our Bodily Injury approach to maximise commercial outcomes. As our Claims Strategist, you will work with key stakeholders across the business and with specialist suppliers and there will be a focus on developing ongoing tactics to understand how new legislation will affect us and the industry moving forward.

We can offer this role at either our Leicester or Bexhill-on-Sea offices combined with a hybrid approach to the office/homeworking. However, for the right colleague, we can offer a permanent homeworking opportunity.

What will you be doing?- Supporting the delivery of our Bodily Injury strategy to maximise the commercial outcomes- Creating and developing the commercial MI suite alongside the claims analytics team- Championing a ‘trading’ culture to track key changes in claims costs- Identifying performance improvement opportunities and analysing the market to identify commercial opportunities- Supporting the creation and setting of a budget- Managing the process of reporting against targets and initiatives- Owning key parts of the commercial initiatives already in place and working across the business to deliver change

What are we looking for?- Experience working in Bodily Injury claims- Strong commercial awareness- The ability to look at the bigger picture and develop the right processes- Experience of working with data and thinking analytically- Experience of delivering and supporting change effectively
