**Trade Counter Assistant - Coleraine - Permanent**

**About the role**:

- Monday to Friday
- Day time hours and weekends off
- £Negotiable salary (depending on experience)
- Our client specialise in the sale and distribution of an extensive range of tools and equipment throughout the UK and Ireland.
- Permanent

Your role will involve sales, customer service, stock control and product knowledge. Its a varied, exciting position offering the chance to work with globally renowned tool and equipment brands including Hikoki, Jefferson Tools, DeWalt, INE, Master, Youngman, Lorch, Laser, TengTools, Chicago Pneumatic, 3M & many more. **Duties will include**:

- Dealing directly with customers via our sales counter and by telephone
- Handling price enquiries
- Processing orders via our dedicated business management software platform
- Preparing orders for account holders
- Handling stock
- General housekeeping duties

**What experience do you need?**
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good understanding of tools and equipment
- Have a good working knowledge of compressors, welders and generators
- Be a reliable team player with a proven track record of using own initiative
