We are looking to hire a **Quality Assurance Lead** to join our Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) Framework

**About the Project**
Anglian Water has created a new delivery enterprise - the Strategic Pipeline Alliance. “SPA” is creating hundreds of kilometres of new, interconnecting pipelines to help combat the impact of climate change and keep fresh, clean water flowing across the Anglian Water region.
The new network is one of the largest infrastructure projects for a generation and is a complex and challenging major infrastructure project.

**About the Role**
Reporting to the Head of SHEA (AWS Strategic Alliances) the Quality Assurance Lead plays a vital role in assuring the quality of work undertaken across the SPA programme area, from project inception to asset delivery and handover.

The role is key to providing the Senior Leadership Team with analysis of work carried out and creating salient reports to show where work does not meet the standard expected enabling SPA Alliance to improve the quality of work carried out. They will perform detailed inspections to make sure projects meet or exceed industry standards, in line with the Alliance Management System (AMS) and finding reasons behind any issues found in these inspections and reduce the need to revisit future defects, improving customer and stakeholder confidence

**Key Responsibilities**

**Deliver a programme of effective quality assurance**
Assure that Quality, Materials In Contact (MIC), and compliance with Minimum Asset Standards (MAS) during the design, planning, and mobilisation phase of projects.

Assure that products built off-site are delivered to the required design and standard by carrying out and/or co-ordinating pre-delivery quality inspections and witness testing as identified in the project plan.

As requested or as required by risk assessment attend project rehearsals, fit for assemblies, and good to go meetings to ensure Assurance and Quality is diligently covered and risk adequately planned for and mitigated

Actively liaise with the SPA Strategic Supply Integration team supporting the water quality challenge and sharing knowledge, experience, and support.

**Collaborate with Assurance & Quality teams within other Strategic Alliances and within the wider AWS business**
Identify and embed best practice from other areas of AWS and Alliances.

Utilise existing Strategic Alliances processes, procedures, and ways of working to assure compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001.

Attend Assurance & Quality forums and workshops to represent SPA and assure ongoing alignment and understanding of best practice in other areas of the business.

Liaise with Partner and Third Party auditors and inspectors, to ensure the independent audit programme is scaled, effective and comprehensive.

**Support development and implementation of the AMS (Alliance Management Systems)**
Formulate procedures, processed and standards in correlation to industry standards and customer expectation

Identify quality control processes to ensure all standards are always met

Audit projects to ensure they adhere to the AMS procedures and support any Non-conformance issues when they arise.

Collaborate with the Head of SHEA to set quality benchmarks

**Training & Development**
Working actively and supportively at the direction of the Head of SHEA to ensure SPA Alliance teams are competent and able to utilise all aspects of the AMS through the development and delivery of awareness sessions, data updates, process training, and system familiarisation.

**About You**
Experience of working in a construction environment

Infrastructure project experience

Experience of working in the water industry

Experience of impact planning, network integration, MIC, Reg 31, water hygiene

Process and systems experience

Lead Auditor

Detailed knowledge of ISO9001

Strong IT (Information Technology) skills, especially in databases and Excel

Able to communicate (verbal and written) to a wide range of audiences

Confident in being proactive, enthusiastic, and visible across a business
