**Role**:Internal Salesperson

**Location**: Delph

**Hours**:Monday - Friday 40 hour work week (All Office Based)

XCL Group are currently recruiting for an Internal Salesperson to join a global utilities company in the Delph area. We are looking for an individual who has experience from a similar background, who can provide an excellent customer service to both new and existing clients. This role will involve cold calling companies, as well as providing quotations to both national and international customers.

There may be times where you will be required to meet the customers in person, whether this be on site or at exhibitions. You will need experience on Sales Force to be successful for this position.

**The main duties of the role will be, but not limited to**:

- Acquiring new accounts across the UK and abroad, developing a professional rapport with customers.
- You will be playing a key role in the sales team, and will be the point of contact for queries from colleagues and customers.
- Putting together a sales list of new companies to contact, and coming up with presentations to secure their business.
- Monitor sales performance and be driven for yourself and team to hit company targets.
- Be in touch with customers throughout their order process.
- Going over competitor activities, coming up with new ideas for business development.
- Be involved with trade shows.

**Preferred Skills/ Experience**
- Previous experience as a Internal Salesperson
- Confident with cold calling, and following up on warm leads
- Have experience dealing with international currencies.
- Experience with dealing with customers on a direct basis
- IT literate
- Good level of literacy and numeracy
- Ideally you will have come from a utilities background
