**Role: Quality Control Officer**
**Hours: Monday to Friday 14.00 - 22.00pm**
**ROLE PURPOSE**:
The Quality Control officer ensures that the QC Manager is supported when dealing with an organisation’s products and services to meet internal and external standards, function effectively and meet the customer’s requirements. The QC Officer will be involved in delivering and maintaining these standards across various parts of the business. They also work to the quality management systems, monitor company-wide performance and compliance.
**ROLE OBJECTIVES**:
- Collaborate with the QC Manager to meet or exeed quality benchmarks
- Work towards the standards in accordance with industry standards and customer expectations
- Identify quality control processes to ensure criteria are met at all times
- Execute tests to check final product adherence to the company standards
- Record findings and relay this information to the production team
- Brainstorm ideas to increase productivity and performance of the production line while maintaining accuracy in quality
- Make crucial decisions in favour of cost-efficiency without compromising on quality
- Oversee production to ensure conformity in final product processing
- To ensure that Quality system is maintained and verified daily consulting with the QC Manager, group technical and GM
- To work closely with the production teams ensuring the highest quality is achieved
- To be responsible for the positive release process
- Work within and maintain QAS system ensuring all staff are trained to the highest level and exceeds expectations
- To participate in and support the NPD process for conception to launch of products
**Requirements**:
- Experience in Quality Control within production - essential
- Able to work with a high level of care and accuracy
- Must be health and safety conscious
- Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £11.80 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Warminster, BA12 8SP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- QC production: 1 year (preferred)
