Kennel and Cattery Assistant

**Duties**:

- Provide daily care for animals in the kennels, including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitise kennels, cages, and other animal living areas, change of bedding and animal laundry
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by management/senior staff
- Monitor the health and behaviour of animals and report any concerns to the management/senior staff
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing animals
- Reception admin duties, maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working with animals, preferably in an animal care setting
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills for interacting with pet owners
- Well spoken and written English skills preferred
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
