**About Us**:
We are a small residential children's home providing a nurturing environment for up to 4 children aged between 8 and 15. Our mission is to offer a safe and supportive space where children can thrive and grow, receiving the care and attention they need to reach their full potential.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Supervisor to join our team. The role involves providing overnight supervision and support to the children in our care, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and monitor the children during sleeping hours, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
- Respond promptly to any issues or emergencies that may arise during the night, following the appropriate procedures and protocols.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to children who may have difficulty sleeping or are feeling anxious during the night.
- Administer any necessary medication to children in accordance with our policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of events and incidents that occur during the night, reporting any concerns to the appropriate members of staff.
- Carry out regular checks of the premises to ensure they are secure and report any maintenance issues or hazards.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in a residential setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and colleagues.
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
