**A little bit about what we are looking for...**
You will be the “go to” internal expert on rent setting and compliance, providing essential support to the Rent Setting and Process Manager in meeting team objectives for rents and compliance. Responsible for maintaining systems and data related to rents, ensuring accurate reporting for year-end and other regulatory returns.

However bear in mind during your probation and training, we may request more office presence to ensure you feel fully supported and equipped for success. Of course if you'd prefer to be in the office more, then that is completely fine with us too
**Your responsibilities...**
- Setting of rents for in accordance with regulation and legislation.
- Ensuring the Housing Management System and other Rent Software Systems including spreadsheets are maintained and are accurate.
- Continuous development of knowledge in relation to rents and rent setting in the social housing sector.
- Assist in carrying out the annual rent reviews and other ad hoc reviews in accordance with tenancy agreements and leases including correspondence and mailing to customers.
- Ensure other charges are correctly charged to tenant accounts on the Housing Management System and maintain data on the system.
- Assist in the reporting of rents and production of analytical data.
- Up to date knowledge on all legislation and regulation which impact on rent calculations.
- Manage and Coordinate rent notifications to all external stakeholders e.g. Local Authorities / Councils
- Develop knowledge of our schemes to ensure charges are affordable and represent value for money and accurately reflect the scheme composition.

- Experience working within a high-performing finance team.
- Proven expertise in a high-performing transaction processing function.
- Skilled in customer relationship management.
- Proficient in using a variety of financial and non-financial software systems.
- In-depth knowledge of financial systems, processing, and rent legislation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (including VLOOKUP and PivotTables).
