Volunteer Worker

We are a care home for the elderly and younger adults. We would love to hear from you if you would like to tell us your story. Maybe you have been doing facinating things or you can paint or draw or you can do arts and crafts. Perhaps play a musical instrument or you can sit and chat with our elderly residents.

Perhaps it could be to take a resident out for a morning or afternoon somewhere locally for a chat by the sea or an icecream.

We would love to hear from you if you can play dominos or maybe plant seeds or grow vegetables with the residents.

Volunteering with us ensures residents can pursue their hobbies and interests and as a result develop their social life. This is a great way to meet people

What we are looking for in volunteers:

- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Kindness, empathy and patience.
- Able to use initiative.
