Responsible for material master creation and up keep this role will maintain and update master data for all products, from when the initial product creation on SAP until they are set as end of life.

Creating products on SAP using the data supplied by the vendor or Vendor/Product manager you will ensure that the master data received follows our current policies, audits and validation processes.

You will work with the MIS team to improve SAP Material Master Data Management and with the Order Inventory Management team to ensure that master data settings that impact MRP are set to ensure CMS maximise Return on Working Capital and minimise Aged Stock.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Complete the Product Creation template with the required information or check the data supplied by the PM and reject if missing crucial data.
- Ensure all the correct data is added to the template. Run the Winshuttle and feedback the created sku’s to the PM.
- Responsible for the management of material master data throughout the material life cycle (from product launch until discontinuation)
- Validation of critical maser data such as EAN code, commodity code, country of origin, weights and dimensions, battery information, carton and pallet quantity, etc.
- Ensure that the Master Data for each Brand is checked at least once a quarter (against the physical stock) and a Master Sheet is maintained to highlight when they were undertaken and the data logged. Make any system changes for incorrect Data and share with the relevant teams.
- Work with the warehouse to ensure the correct barcode is on both SAP and WMS so they can book in or ship products
- Continuously review commodity codes for shipments to Europe and ensure the relevant Paperwork (CoC/DoC/Test report) is supplied with the shipment so that they clear customs.
- Liaise with MIS to improve SAP material master management.
- Participate in acquisition projects for master data related topics.
- Develop valuation measures for data products and share measures across business groups
- You will conduct checks on data quality and uniformity, as well as revise data inaccuracies.
- Understand current systemic data flows and use this knowledge to ensure data collection method and format will support efficient upload of data to core systems
- Propose, define & introduce process improvements in data governance to ensure on-going high-quality data

- Experience with SAP (Knowledge of customer master, condition types, info records, PO Creation, etc).
- Maintain a smart and professional appearance at all times
- Ensure the business is aware of all activity.
