Maths and Science Tutor

Just Learn are looking for a Maths and Science Tutor to tutor a yr 11 female learner, 1 hour of maths tuition a week and 1 hour of Physics tuition a week (flexible with day/time but after school hours) in the CM77 8BX area.

**Duties**:

- Provide one-on-one tutoring session to the student in Maths and Physics.
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of each student.
- Assess student's learning needs and create personalized learning goals.
- Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote a positive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.

**Skills**:

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with students and their families.
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Knowledge of various teaching techniques and strategies for different learning styles.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom setting and maintain discipline.
- Proficient in using educational technology tools for instruction.

Preferred Qualifications:
The tutor must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update System or be willing to pay towards the cost of one.
