We are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our Pre-Prep and Nursery Department on a 1 year fixed-term contract join us in late August for the start of our Autumn Term.

Working closely with the Class Teacher, the role of the Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant is to provide high quality support for the pupils, helping ensure that their learning objectives are met whilst helping to provide a supportive, stimulating and safe learning environment.

**HOURS OF WORK**

This is a part-time, term-time position. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 12.45pm with a 15 minute unpaid break each day. In addition to the core hours there is the requirement to also work the following (please note that the hours below have been included in the salary calculation):

- 3 x Inset days at the beginning of each term, 8.00am to 5.00pm, inclusive of a 30 minute unpaid lunch-break
- The Summer Fun Day - 9.00am to 2.00pm (inclusive of a 15 minute unpaid break)
- 3 x Evening Parent Social Events (1 x per term) - 4 hour
- Christmas related afternoon activities: dress rehearsal and play - 6 hours and Carols Round the Tree - 3 hours
- Summer End of Term Concert - 3 hours

The times and/or dates for these events are to be confirmed by the Head of Pre-Prep and Nursery.
