**We are looking for a Graduate Hydrographic Surveyor to join A-2-Sea’s survey department.**:

**About the Role**:
The primary functions of the Graduate Hydrographic Surveyor role include:

- Planning and preparation of A-2-Sea survey projects.
- Assisting senior surveyors with mobilisation and calibration of equipment to A-2-Sea’s survey vessels and vessels of opportunity.
- Acquisition of hydrographic and geophysical data using a variety of industry standards and state-of-the-art survey equipment.
- Data processing and production of deliverables.
- Report writing and interpretation of results.
- Development of A-2-Sea’s processes and procedures.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Knowledge of survey equipment including multibeam systems, positioning systems, side scan sonar and USBL systems.
- Familiarity with survey software for acquisition and processing, including QPS QINSy, Kongsberg SIS, BeamWorx AutoClean, Caris HIPS & SIPS, and Chesapeake SonarWiz.
- A proactive, flexible approach to performing tasks.
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Willing to work away from home for periods of generally 2 to 4 weeks, although periods away from home can vary from a few days to a few weeks.
- In possession of a full, valid driving license.
