An opportunity has arisen for a **Plant**

**Job role**:
- Lead and manage a team of production supervisors and operators to meet production goals and maintain high-quality standards
- Develop and implement production schedules and processes to maximize efficiency, minimise waste, and ensure on-time delivery of products
- Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing appropriate changes to improve processes and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations, and lead continuous improvement initiatives in these areas
- Manage the maintenance of production equipment and machinery, ensuring that it is properly maintained and operating effectively
- Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance teams to identify and implement new technologies and processes that will improve production efficiency and quality
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with the plant manager and other senior managers to ensure the production team is aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the company
- Design and develop the Production function and team in support of Plant design, launch and production phases
- Drive the planning and delivery of the production industrialisation programme for the new facility

**You’ll have**:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in a production management role in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on lean principles and continuous improvement
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of production supervisors and operators
- Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and machinery
- Knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
