Yard Operative

Job Summary: We are seeking an individual that has the ability to work to their own initiative but also as a team player to support our Horley Depot with the maintenance and upkeep of the depot yard and equipment.

The main duties are as follows, but not limited to:

- Conducting weekly stock checks for volume of equipment
- Conducting daily yard checks to include the condition and cleanliness of the yard
- Conducting daily stock checks to include the condition and cleanliness of the equipment
- To report any anomalies or damages to stock or equipment to the Area Manager
- Responsible for the daily upkeep of the yard
- Responsible for maintaining and creating 'specialist' signs, ensuring that they are in good condition and of a good standard
- Repairing equipment where possible
- Supporting the Area Manager with admin tasks as and when required
- Responsible for the maintenance of the batteries, ensuring that they are charged and in full working order

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
