We are looking for experienced, time served butcher to join our SHOP team.

There is some flexibility on the days worked but Friday and Saturday are busy trade days. We are closed on a Wednesday.

You must have good customer skills and be smart in appearance.

You will be involved in the day to day running of the butchers shop and should have good knife skills as you will be preparing meat for catering and retail customers using a wide variety of processes; handling, deboning, trimming, cutting, tying, grinding/mincing, tenderising and further processing i.e. meat preparations / meat products.

You should also know how to set up an eye-catching, well laid out counter and be able to advise customers on a range of meat, meat preparations and meat products including appropriate means of handling, storing at home and suitable methods of cooking.
