Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of young adults facing homelessness? Join our dynamic team as a **Night Concierge **in Depaul UK, where you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering individuals on their journey towards independence.

**About Us**:
**Role Overview**:
Maritime Court provides supported housing and is delivered in partnership with Karbon Homes (Landlord) and Depaul (Support Providers). The project forms part of the North Tyneside Pathway.

The project is designed to support clients (16-24 year olds) who are at risk of homelessness within **North Tyneside**. The service users are supported to take more and more responsibility for their affairs and assess the most appropriate move-on housing for them.

We are currently looking for a dedicated **Night Concierge** with clear understanding of Safeguarding to work at our accommodation service in Whitley Bay, ensuring the building is safe and secure through security and door control. You will work as a full time (37.5 hours per week), permanent staff.

As Night Concierge, you will be responsible for:

- ensuring the security of the building through regular checks, and monitoring CCTV where it applies
- ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients in the service at all times possible including using Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures as applicable
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors or services visiting the building at night
- Keeping records of all work, activities and entries to and from the building whilst you are on shift

Please note that you will be required to relate with young adults during the course of your work so, your experience in Safeguarding will be an added advantage in order to be considered for this role.

**What We Are Looking For - Person Specification**:

- An understanding of the needs of people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance use or care leavers.
- Experience of managing the overnight safety of vulnerable clients preferably in supported housing
- Good written and spoken communication skills to ensure the accurate handover of information both verbally and in writing between shifts.
- Experience of undertaking basic maintenance and/or delivering cleaning services
