Following Welsh Government investment we are looking for a senior Pharmacy Professional (Pharmacist/Pharmacy Technician) to lead the pharmacy and medicines aspects of scoping and then implementing an electronic prescribing and administration (ePMA) system for Powys Teaching Health Board (PTHB) Community Hospitals. You will be supported by a senior Pharmacy technician and will be integrated into the wider Pharmacy team and will be working alongside other new roles of Digital, Nursing and Project Management Teams being recruited, to support the PTHB ePMA project.

You will be working with colleagues across Wales, including closely with Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) teams and linking with other Welsh HB's to share learning around project scoping and implementation and national ePMA framework requirements. You will represent PTHB at national meetings and will be the PTHB pharmacy lead for other digital medicines projects.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working within a hospital setting and with digital systems/digital projects. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to build relationships to enable significant medicines process changes.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
