We are looking for a **Category Leader,** based at our office in Bracknell

**About the role **

You will be accountable for developing and delivering the Merchandise Strategy for categories that is customer focused and maximises business performance and category growth for Sally Europe. Working collaboratively across all business units, in particular the Vendor negotiation team to drive sales and maximise profitability.

**Key Responsibilities **
- Develop and lead high performing teams, providing leadership and support to the Category Managers and Category Assistants
- Lead the strategic vision for Merchandising and the Category ensuring it is fit for purpose across all routes to market and all channels across Sally Europe
- Strategy in place to drive and deliver exclusive/other brands performance across all markets for Sally Europe
- Play an active role in the leadership team and strengthen employee engagement
- Delivery of range assortment for all channels and all countries for Sally Europe, maximising sales and profitability
- Ensure collaboration between the Category Management team, assortment planners and Visual Merchandisers to deliver the range assortment for stores
- Accountable for exit management of deleted lines both at store and in warehouse(s), working in conjunction with the vendor management team
- Actively implement a Product Life Cycle management
- Optimize the own brand assortment in all categories
