**Job description**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Stock Controller to join the Superior Wellness team based at our Head Office in Chesterfield.

We are looking for a highly organised Stock Controller to join our busy procurement team.

If you are highly organised, with an excellent accurate attention to detail, we would love to hear from you. You will be a team player, able to multi-task in a busy environment, and a self-motivated individual.

**Role & Responsibilities**

**Your role will need to change and adapt with the needs of the business. Some of your responsibilities may include**:
The stock controller is responsible for the efficient and organised storage of all parts/materials/consumables & miscellaneous goods that are required throughout our business.

Accurate stock control is crucial to the successful running of the business, maintaining maximum production on our sites.

It is the stock controller’s responsibility to ensure the stores are not under/overstocked with materials and that the stores are run in a safe and tidy manner while controlling.

The stock controller is ultimately responsible for but not limited to the full life cycle process of inventory, raising RFO(requests for order) to the buyer, accepting/booking in PO’s deliveries, stock control, making/requesting stock adjustments once approved all the while keeping the system moving, efficient and accurate.
- To assist the Buyer with our WMS project
- To maintain cost effective stock levels of parts and accessories
- To accurately accept/book in PO’s deliveries on the system
- Check of all delivery notes ensuring they have been thoroughly checked and correctly signed and then uploading accordingly.
- Dealing with site requisitions and queries in a timely manner - following company SOP's at all times.
- This includes ensuring the requisitions are completed correctly and have accurate product codes and cost centres - resolving with site if not the case.
- Monitoring urgent deliveries and chasing back-orders
- Prompt and accurate inputting of intake data to ensure stock control is managed and up to date both in the warehouses and vehicles.
- Liaise between after sales team and our suppliers to help ensure that materials arrive correctly and when required.
- Provide timely and accurate reports to our Buyer.
- Quality Assurance on all off-loading and on-loading deliveries
- To ensure accurate updating of our Bespoke CRM/new WMS to ensure accurate stock at all times.
- Creation/maintenance of SKUs with accurate and full information using the standardised layout.
- To Perform and Assist with PI checks, cycle counts and full audits and the investigation of stock variances (Root cause analysis)
- Update other departments on stock levels of items
- To assist with the processing of returned items
- To assist the processing of quarantine stock

**Essential Skills**
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Great ability to use Microsoft, in particular, excel spreadsheets and an order entry system/WMS system.
- A positive can-do attitude, excellent time keeping and attendance to work.
- Confidence, enthusiasm, self-motivation and determination.
- Clear and strong communication skills at all levels.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise well.
- Attention to detail - accurate and methodical in work.
