Are you looking for a cleaning role that is a little different? If the answer is yes, then we may have an opportunity for you.

We have a vacancy to join the team working at one of our Primary schools where your dedication to the role will enhance the children’s learning environment. Hunton & Arrathorne community primary, Bedale, is a friendly family orientated school where the children learn about good behaviour and respect to others.

Working for NYCC as a Cleaning Assistant, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings. Full training will be provided, and the hours are between 15.30 pm and 17.48 pm daily, with some flexibility on start and finish time and totalling to 11.5 hours per week over 5 days. For this you will be paid between £11.59 per hour.

In addition to this we can offer the additional Caretaker responsibilities of locking the site, setting the alarm, carrying out premise monitoring and ensuring the site is fully secure. For this we will pay you between £11.79 and £12.38 per hour based on 3.5 hrs per week from 17.48 to 18.30.
