**Quality Control Inspector**

Archibald Young is a family owned and operated foundry business manufacturing low volume high integrity castings for a wide range of industries. We have been in operation for over 60 years and are looking to develop further to meet growing customer demands.

This is a new specific role to be developed by the succesful applicant and made their own along with support from the existing team. We are looking to bring in a QC/QA Inspector to review all incoming and outgoing material to ensure that the products meet quality standards. You will be the one to verify that the product meets the correct specifications and that it complies with all safety standards. The goal is to ensure that all products are meeting the required quality standards.

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards, quality systems and procedures
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent measurement skills (using micrometers, calipers, height gauges etc)
- Strong attention to detail along with good analytical skills
- Final inspection and sanity checking daily shipped parts.
- Upkeep of customer NCR/CAR records.
- Goods inward inspection
- In house inspection and shop floor patrol inspection
- Upkeep and organising calibration if internal measuring equipment using external accredited sources
- UK work authorisation required.

**Salary**: From £14.80 per hour
