**About the Role and Person**
- 21 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to work alongside our existing finance team within the Accounts Payable Team, reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader. The role and focus are ensuring all our invoices are posted to the correct customers’ accounts and payments are made within the agreed timescales. Reconciliations of our customers’ accounts are accurate. You will provide good customer service to our internal/external customers.
The role requires liaising with all regions and external customers with any queries regarding invoices.
Everything we do is customer focussed and providing accurate data is key in enabling team members to provide exceptional levels of customer service.

Whilst we have key responsibilities and these can be found in the job description, there are certain things we will need from you:
- Positive attitude and commitment to good customer Service
- Awareness of Accent’s vision & business objectives
- Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Computer Literate and experience of data inputting
- Worked in a large, pressurised Accounts Payable Dept
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and to work to tight deadlines
- Confident in dealing with staff and customers at all levels
- Commitment to equal opportunities and diversity
- Organised and methodical approach and effective problem solving
- Must be prepared to undertake any relevant training

**Location**
We’ll provide you with the equipment and software that you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.
Should you wish to work occasionally from any of our regional offices, you may do so on a hot desk basis which will need to be arranged via our online booking system
**Salary**
The spot salary for this post is £22,212 (FTE equivalent) per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all of the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
