Yard Assistant

Busy livery yard seeks individual to help with yard duties. Working alongside other yard staff you will be responsible for mucking out stables, bagging up straw, filling hay nets and water buckets, sweeping yard and generally assisting the other yard staff and keeping the area clean and ready for horses coming back into their stables. Handling of horses to and from paddocks and within the stable block.

This position is for a self-motivated individual who is happy to take on some responsibility and forward planning. A physically demanding job at times that requires careful consideration of tasks, must be efficient in their duties and take pride in their work.

This position is part time, motivation and willingness to be part of a busy team of livery.

Self employed accepted and hours can be adjusted to suit you.

All training will be given.

Must have own transport and aged 18 and over.

Must be reliable, responsible and enjoying working outside.

There is no on-site accommodation.
