Technical Author

**TECHNICAL AUTHOR**

Our client is a leading Engineering company based in Co Down that has a reputation for excellence. They are looking for a Technical Author with experience in the writing and publication of technical information across a range of platforms, to join their team.

**THE ROLE**

You will liaise with company Engineers regarding new products and changes to existing products and translate this information into easily understandable user manuals, installation and servicing guides both in hard copy and online.

**THE PERSON**
- You should have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- An HNC/HND qualification or above in Mechanical/Electronic/Electrical Engineering would be advantageous. However applicants without these qualifications will still be considered if they can demonstrate sufficient practical experience in a similar role.
- You should be proficient in a range of IT packages to ensure publication to a high level to include engineering drawings, diagrams, photographs etc.

**SALARY**
