**Compliance & Privacy Manager -Market-leading international organisation**

**Location: Warwickshire / Hybrid (2 days in the office)**

**Salary: £50-57,000 + Excellent Benefits inc. car allowance**

Our Client is a market-leading international organisation with their eye on employing and developing the very best individuals in the world. The Internal Audit and Compliance team is looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Compliance and Privacy Managerto join their team. Developing and maintaining a Privacy Framework that aligns to the company’s key legislative and regulatory obligations and which identifies key areas of improvement. This role is very hands-on and requires a high level of expertise in bothData Protection and GDPR regulations.

**The role**:

- Develop, promote, and maintain a Compliance Management Framework that aligns to the company’s key legislative and regulatory obligations, along with identifying key areas of improvement.
- Support the development and delivery of data protection and privacy training and awareness programs for the company and colleagues, consistent with the scope of the existing Privacy Framework.
- Develop and maintain business relations with all stakeholders across all levels of the organisation, in particular with Internal Audit, Legal, Finance & the QSHE teams.
- Ensure a framework of data and privacy policies are in place, managed, updated and adhered to by the Company.
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments for all changes implemented.
- Develop best practice solutions around Data and Privacy by bringing in examples of excellence from within the parent company and from third party organisations.
- Liaise with the parent company’s compliance team on all aspects of Privacy.
- Lead investigation into any data/privacy breaches within the company and liaise with the ICO, as and when required.

**The person**:

- Educated to degree level, or equivalent
- Experience of working in similar roles that span both compliance and risk
- Attention to detail with the ability to work with large amounts of data
- Ability to influence others to comply with defined standards and requirements of new operating procedures
- Process orientated and extremely well organised
- Understanding/ability to both promote and support the need for change
- Experience of communicating with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation and including auditors and external regulators
