Marton Mills is a family owned and managed weaving mill based in Pool-in-Wharfefale. An opportunity has arisen for a night shift weaver to join our team. The role would involve responsibility for 10 looms working Monday - Thursday night (48 hours).

**Responsibilities**

To work as a key member of the production team to ensure that all looms weave to their optimum efficiencies and that a high standard of quality is maintained.

**Duties**

To regularly check all looms to ensure that there are no faults in the fabric and to stop the loom should they find a fault and report it to an Overlooker.

To check the loom card is followed by putting the correct weft shade into the weft creel in the correct position and ensuring that warp ends are loomed and sleyed correctly.

To follow the Marton Mills Weaving Procedure at all times.

To ensure that all machinery is operated in accordance to manufacturer’s instructions.

To ensure that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained within your department.

To assist in the maintenance of a safe working environment through the strict adherence to company health and safety rules and procedures.

Ensuring that all Personal Protective Equipment as issued is used.

**Salary**: Up to £40,000.00 per year
