**What you'll do**

At the heart of M&S's group strategy is our International business, undergoing a pivotal omnichannel transformation. Data is our compass, powering our digital evolution and informed decision-making.

As the Head of Data & Analytics - International you will lead the Data and Analytics function for our International business, encompassing advanced analytics, reporting, and data strategy. With your team, you will ensure we harness maximum value from our current data infrastructure, boosting data adoption among business stakeholders and International partners and elevating our business maturity.
- Strategic Data Vision: Set a clear vision for the Data and Analytics function, ensuring it harmonises with M&S International strategy, using data, bridging strategic objectives with actionable analytics.
- Reporting: Direct the team to manage and enhance the International reporting suite, emphasising data quality, transitioning to BEAM data sources, and fostering an environment of continuous data integration from diverse international sources.
- Analytics: Lead an analytics team, generating business insight, identifying opportunities and providing solutions to business problems, enabling data monetisation and commercial value generation.
- Colleague Engagement: Embed a data-driven culture among International colleagues and global partners, facilitating upskilling, consistent collaboration, and aligning with group data strategy, including the increased transparency of data across us and our partners.’
- Data Management and Integration: Possess a strong grasp of systems and technology to manage and integrate vast datasets from various origins, maintaining data integrity.
- Team Leadership and Development: Guide, inspire, and nurture a top-tier analytics team, instilling a culture of continuous innovation and professional growth.

The role also plays a central part in guiding the Digital & Technology product teams supporting the International business:

- Data Engineering: In collaboration with the Senior Product Manager, lead data prioritisation, synchronise with the broader business narrative, and guide Data Owners, and Stewards to optimise the processes and data capabilities, ensuring all initiatives are aligned with International goals.
- Data Science: Assist the Product Manager in Data Science, providing insight into the International business landscape, pinpointing valuable use cases, and guaranteeing consistent value delivery.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Proven experience in liaising with senior stakeholders, including Directors and Exco level, particularly in fostering data literacy and value realization.
