Location: North West

Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000

The role of the Designer - Windows & Doors will involve:

- Designer position dealing with a high end manufactured range of windows, doors and curtain walling systems into the residential and commercial sectors
- Prepare 2D and 3D design drawings
- Ensure that all designs meet the client requirements so that offsite manufacturing can take place
- Liaise regularly with architects, engineers, and contractors providing excellent customer service
- Work closely with internal departments providing support and resolving queries
- Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements
- Attend weekly design meetings
- Producing estimates for projects ranging in value from £50k to £3m

The ideal applicant will be a Designer - Windows & Doors experience with:

- Must have Design experience within the windows, doors and curtain walling market sector
- Must have AutoCAD experience
- Must have a sound understanding of building regulations
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Team player with a positive outlook
- Motivated, proactive, and driven individual
- Must be commercially aware and cost focused
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
