Press Brake Operative

**Due to continued investment and expansion, we are now looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a Press Brake / Laser background.**

**Job description**

**Responsibilities**
- Setting and operating Bystronic Press Brake
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Basic maintenance of the press brake
- Adhering to safe working practices
- Meeting production output and deadlines
- Self-disciplined and ability to manage workload effectively

- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + additional 1 extra day for each year of service (up to 5 years - 33 days)

**Schedule**
- Monday to Friday

Nelson, BB9 0LD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required). UK residents only need to apply.

**Education**:
GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Press Brake/Bystronic/CNC: 1 year (required)
- SETTING: 1 year (required)
- Forklift licence (desirable)
- Driving licence (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6-8 weeks

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.5 - 47.5 per week
