**OVERALL SUMMARY**
TPM Business partnering teams align to 3 areas (Central, Commercial & Property, or Retail and Treasury & Savings) ensuring that the businesses and functions are professionally partnered in managing their third-party suppliers.
The TPM Business Partner will work closely with their respective Business Line stakeholders and individual Business Owners of Third-party relationships. They will support them in optimising commercial value and reducing the risks associated with these relationships throughout the full lifecycle, from the point of selection to on-boarding and in life through to renewal or exit.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, acting in the capacity of a trusted advisor
- Maintain a strategic understanding of needs of business areas within remit to ensure that value is optimised, and risk mitigated in their end-to-end supply chain (sourcing, contracting, in life, renewal and exit).
- Ensure a positive impact on the Business by driving awareness of the TPM function and the value of the TPM proposition, ensuring compliance to the TPM framework.
- Leading sourcing, contract negotiations and renewals for the businesses third party arrangements, predominately across Tier 1 and 2a, including Material Outsourcing/Non-Outsourcing.
- Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
**WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF**:
- Strong Procurement, Category and/or Relationship Management experience.
- Strong experience managing key supplier engagements (top 2 tiers both onboarding and in life) delivering tangible commercial value, mitigating risk and delivering wider benefits.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Strong contract negotiation experience, in particular for larger, risk and more strategic.
- Strong understanding of risk management in the context of third parties whilst meeting the demands of the business.
**IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE**:
- Commercial awareness and understanding of the Financial Services industry.
- Project management experience.
- A levels / relevant Btec / and or degree Relevant.
- Procurement qualifications and training.
