**Job Details**:
**Key Requirements**
- A Medical Degree
- NTN/LAT in clinical genetics, oncology or surgical oncology, pathology or public health
- Experience in cancer genetics clinics/management of patients at high risk of cancer
- Experience in use of software packages for basic data analysis (eg Excel, STATA, R, SPSS, SAS)
- An interest in cancer research and genomics, and using data to answer exciting clinical questions
- An interest in healthcare systems and population health
- The ability to work independently and problem solve
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Training in epidemiology, statistics, data analysis, and programming is desirable but not essential

**Department/Directorate Information**:
The post will be situated within the Division of Genetic and Epidemiology comprising the research groups of Professors Richard Houlston FRS, Ros Eeles, Clare Turnbull, Montse Garcia Closas and Amy Berrington, which total >50 post-doctoral scientists, bioinformaticians and students involved in a range of projects relating to susceptibility, somatic and functional cancer genomics and aetiological and longitudinal cancer epidemiology. The post holder will be located at ICR Sutton within the Translational Genetics team alongside two other clinical fellows, a clinical lecturer, four bioinformaticians as well as the CG-MAVE/CanGene-CanVar/BRCA-DIRECT clinical and project management teams.
