**Mobile CT/MRI Healthcare Assistant**

**Location: Andover, Hampshire**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Healthcare Assistant to join our team in supporting our patients based initially in Andover.

**As a Mobile Healthcare Assistant your role will include**

medneo is looking for an enthusiastic Mobile Healthcare Assistant who is passionate about providing patients with welcoming and positive experience, enjoys working as part of the team and can support the Radiographers with the completion of pre-scanning paperwork and preparations for the examination.

You will assist with a full range of clinical and administrative tasks, based over three 12.5 hour shifts a week. Duties include:

- Welcoming patients and assisting with completion of preparation paperwork
- Escorting patients to the changing rooms and helping them prepare for examinations
- Explaining procedures, answering questions and providing reassurance by anticipating patient’s anxieties
- Assisting the Radiographers with preparing the patients for examinations
- Assist with chaperoning and patient manual handling
- Helping to keep clinical areas clean and tidy at all times. Ensure that surfaces are decontaminated between patients in accordance with the Covid Procedures
- Accepting and unpacking of deliveries and assistance with carrying out regular stock takes and maintaining stock records.
- Undertaking clinical audit to support the Quality and Risk Team
- Adhere to the ISO 9001:2015 standard and understand the Quality Policy and Support the company in its strive to deliver Quality Management System

Please note that we believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our patients and colleagues.

**We would love to hear from you if you**
- Ideally you will hold a recognised qualification in intravenous cannulation
- Ideally you will have experience working in a Diagnostic Imaging Department and/or mobile CT or MRI environment
- Are a highly organised with a positive, can-do attitude, understanding your colleagues and patients’ needs, always going the extra mile with nothing being too much trouble
- You pride yourself on your attention to detail, efficiency and ability to take ownership and manage your own workload whilst working across a variety of different tasks
- Have excellent communication and people skills with ability to build strong positive relationships with all patients, colleagues and service providers
- Have ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines, with a flexible approach to changing plans always delivering to a high standard
- Are happy to adhere to medneo's corporate values, legal and regulatory policies and procedures
- You are constantly thinking about how we can improve the way we do things and create an even better patient and colleague experience
- Have strong IT skills across all Microsoft programmes
- Experience of working with patients in a healthcare environment is desirable
