Here at Highway Marine, we are looking for a Boatyard Operative with a difference, whether you enjoy practical work, operating machinery or have maintenance experience, this maybe your next step.

Duties as follows:

- Operating heavy machinery - Crane, Digger, Dreger, Dumper Truck, and workboat (full training given)
- General property maintenance to include, but not limited to, basic DIY, strimming, mowing, hedge cutting, painting etc.
- Carrying out repairs, with the use of grinders, chainsaws, and power tools (fully-equipped workshop and tools provided)
- Boat maintenance (painting, waxing, polishing)
- Plant maintenance
- Other duties that may arise around the yard.

Due to the nature of the role the successful individual will have previous experience working as part of a team and alone (self-motivator), be practically minded, have the ability to solve issues, demonstrate excellent organisational, observational skills with good attention to detail.

A Full driving licence and access to a car would be essential.

- Starting salary of £25,000 to increase when fully trained
