Job Overview:
Chinnor Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Covid-19 Vaccinator. As a Vaccinator, you will play a crucial role in administering Covid-19 vaccines to members of the community. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in the fight against the pandemic and help protect public health.
**Duties**:
- Administer Covid-19 vaccines to eligible individuals following established protocols and guidelines
- Prepare vaccine doses accurately and safely
- Maintain proper documentation of vaccines administered (all online via pharmoutcomes/outcomes4health)
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects
- Provide education and information to patients regarding the vaccine and its potential benefits and risks
- Ensure proper storage and handling of vaccines
- Adhere to infection control practices and maintain a clean and organized work environment
**Skills**:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate vaccine administration
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and address their concerns
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy
- Knowledge of vaccine administration protocols and guidelines
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of patient confidentiality
- Ability to follow established procedures and protocols accurately
- Strong organizational skills to maintain proper documentation
**Requirements**:
- Valid certification as a Vaccinator
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must be willing to undertake DBS certification if not already have
Days/Hours:
- Generally, Mon-Fri (Sat/Sun if you are available then this would be very helpful)
- Hours: Variable / Suited to what you are able to do. We are aiming for clinics to run from 9:30am-17:30pm, but this is completely flexible.
Note: This is a TEMPORARY self-employed position.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
**Salary**: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 21 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
