Fp&a Lead

We are thrilled to be working exclusively with an independent services provider to hire a talented FP&A professional to be based in Wetherby. This is a newly created role to establish the FP&A function, as part of a finance restructure. Working closely with the CFO, you will drive strategic decision support and deliver financial insights to the wider business. In addition to a competitive salary the role offers bonus, car allowance, and hybrid working. Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering financial insights to support strategic direction, evolution and growth
- Using a creative, innovative, and analytical approach to maintain, challenge, and deliver the financial plan
- Leading full P&L forecasting (annually and quarterly)
- Providing ongoing performance analysis and long-range planning
- Making data-backed recommendations
- Reviewing monthly variance analysis on actual results vs plan/forecast
- Supporting the month-end close process
- Facilitating financial review meetings
- Communicating with a range of business departments
- Developing and monitoring financial KPIs, working with others to identify/evaluate dependencies and financial opportunities to drive growth and improve margins
- Balancing critical finance deliverables with operational requests to meet all finance deadlines while supporting business partners and functional leads
- Operating with a proactive approach to ensure the business is kept informed and is ahead of financial risks and opportunities
- Management of an FP&A Analyst.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (at least 3 years PQE)
- A successful FP&A specialist/financial analyst with a proven track record
- Analytical, data-driven and commercial in approach
- A strong leader with exceptional communication skills
- Adept at business partnering
- Self-motivated, curious, ambitious and driven
- An adept multitasker, able to meet strict deadlines whilst managing projects
- Strong in UK GAAP knowledge
- Advanced in MS Excel
- Familiar with Power BI (desirable but not essential).

**Salary**: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
