**Finance Controller**

We are delighted to be working in partnership with our Rendlesham based client who are looking for a Finance Controller to join their expanding team.

You will oversee the financial health of the company by administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements. You should be familiar with audits, invoices, and budget preparations.

**Salary and package**:

- Salary negotiable based on experience
- Office Based, with the possibility of hybrid working after probation
- Full Time: Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:00
- 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
- Business closed for Christmas (holiday entitlement not impacted)
- On-site parking available
- Enrolled into a company pension

**Key roles and responsibilities**:

- Prepare balance sheets
- Update internal systems with financial data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements
- Preparing final accounts for audit
- Preparing and filing the Corporation Tax Return with HMRC (if the business is not audited)
- Filing the Accounts with Companies House (if the business is not audited)
- Participate in financial audits
- Track bank deposits and payments
- Assist with budget preparation
- Review and implement financial policies
- Process monthly salaries
- Dual authorisation for bank / cheque payments
- Provide customised reports based on the business needs such as: - Customer spend analysis

**Key Qualities and Experience**:

- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Experience using Sage financial software
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of financial regulations
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Sharp time management skills
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
