Floating Veterinary Receptionist

**Floating Veterinary Receptionist Vacancy - 38 hours a week**

**Plus 4 Saturdays and 6 Sundays a year**

**Permanent Contract**

As a floating veterinary receptionist your hours of work could be between 7.30am and 8.30pm Monday - Friday, and you could be based at any of our surgeries across Swindon on a rota basis. This role also involves working both Saturdays and Sundays and these hours are 8.30am - 5pm.

The Drove Veterinary Hospital is looking for a smart, caring, motivated individual, who is able to work on their own initiative, remain calm and efficient under pressure and manage their time well.

The role will be to provide a first class service to our clients both face to face and over the phone, help with general enquires, dispense drugs, assist vets and maintain a clean & tidy reception area & branch surgery.

Our ideal applicant will be warm and welcoming, be PC literate with good numeracy and literacy skills.

You will need to hold a full driving license and have your own transport to travel between our branch surgeries.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and can work well as part of a team. You will need to be a good communicator and have an excellent sense of humour.

Previous experience in a veterinary environment will be advantageous, although full training will be given.

We offer registration onto the BVRA (British Veterinary Receptionist Association) with support to complete their courses on successful completion of probation period.
