Job Title: Trusts Fundraiser
Organisation: Harlington Hospice

**Salary**: £28,000-£33,000
Contract: Full Time/ Permanent
Location: Greater London (Three days a week in the hospice)
Required: CV and Cover Letter
Closing date: Friday 21st July 2023

Harlington Hospice supports people living with serious or terminal illness in
the London Borough of Hillingdon and surrounding areas. They believe that everybody living in
our local community should be able to access the care and support they need to be able to
live each of their days in their own way, to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities:

- To reach or exceed the fundraising target, regularly reviewing income received
- against budget, identifying trends and taking remedial action where required.
- To liaise with clinical colleagues and members of the Executive Team to identify
- projects and equipment - and other ideas - in need of funding.
- To liaise with the clinical, finance and HR teams to develop compelling, robust and
- matching them accurately in terms of both project and grant amount requested.
- To deliver exceptional donor care that ensures the Trusts and Foundations that support
- us feel valued, including sending thank you letters and submitting reports in a timely
- manner.

Skills and Experience:

- Experience of Trusts and Foundations fundraising and bid writing.
- Proven experience of securing 5-figure funding from Trusts and Foundations.
- Proven success in delivering results against set targets.
- Experience of building effective relationships with individuals in helping solicit support from Trusts and Foundations.
- Possesses highly developed written skills.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal communication skills
- Professional Fundraising Qualification

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Trust fundraiser to join a hospice who have recently gone through a transformational journey. This person will join a high performing Trusts team and will be a part of an ambitious charity moving forward.
