Heathrow has recently undergone a major implementation of a cloud-based Oracle ERP system and updated its Finance core processes. Join us to lead the journey for Record to Report (R2R) by defining, leading, and delivering transformation and continual improvement of the R2R process, providing critical information to the Board.

The R2R process is focused on collecting, processing and delivering Heathrow’s information timely and accurately from the other core processes. Ensuring that the end-to-end process is managed effectively and efficiently will enable Heathrow to deliver its value potential. The role holder will interface between the Business Owners, technical systems and project teams, and the Services delivery teams. This role forms part of the cross functional Business Operations team which oversees the systems which support the core processes. Together systems and processes are aligned and integrated to optimise business benefit and operational delivery.

Critically these need to fit within the control and assurance framework set by Financial Control who are accountable for the core processes. This role is a change agent, leading the change plan for the R2R business systems, processes and people who will be operating or impacted now and in the future.

**Your role will involve**:

- Working collaboratively with the R2R stakeholders, the Finance Business Services Delivery team and the Business Operations team to define, prioritise and implement core processes transformation and continual improvement of the R2R processes.
- Proactively seeking and making recommended improvements, and responding to business requirements. Delivering continual improvement, and ensuring process solutions are fit for purpose for both the current and future challenges and ambitions of the Heathrow organisation.
- Playing an active role in the Oracle customer community forums to learn from other organisations and influence Oracle's roadmap of future functionality.
- Acting as the representative for R2R within the Business Operations virtual team (led by the Product Owner within Solutions) to drive progressive business change and data and systems integration to meet Heathrow’s value potential.
- Responsible for the systems within the end-to-end R2R process.
- Building and delivering project plans, ensuring buy in from and alignment with key stakeholders (including securing business resources as required) to deliver tangible and embedded business change, and proactively manage risk. Ensuring adoption of changes in systems and procedures to drive business benefits.
- Building and delivering communications plans and relationships internally and externally with key users and stakeholders, including appropriate formal sign off checkpoints.
Being accountable for maintenance of process maps, standard operating procedures and control documentation relevant to the R2R Finance core processes.

**These skills are essential**:

- A qualified Accountant
- Proven Systems or Programme Transformation planning and delivery experience, demonstrating delivery in the R2R area.
- Record to Report business experience, extensive understanding of R2R core business processes, benchmarking and best practice.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills and be able to build relationships quickly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working under pressure in an environment of competing priorities, balancing risk and challenging deadlines.
- Ability to focus on benefits realisation, work with business service delivery teams to identify opportunities for improvements and possess the drive to implement these changes in conjunction with those delivery teams.
