Alphabets Nursery has an opportunity for an early years practitioner to become part of a fun and dynamic team.

This is a full-time position.

**As a nursery practitioner you will be a key member of staff who will work to**:

- Protect and promote the health and well-being of children
- Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed
- Promote positive relationships in the early years setting
- Support children’s learning and development through play
- Be a ‘key person’ to a small group of children and build positive relationships with their families

**You will**:

- Provide high standards of care within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
- Ensure that children are kept safe and following safeguarding procedures.
- Ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met and the Food Safety Regulations are complied with.
- Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery.

Complete any study within the time frame expected by the training provider

**What experience and qualifications must I have in order to apply?**
- Enthusiasm and motivation to provide excellent care for under 5's
- Good communicator

minimum full and relevant level 2 childcare qualification

Show commitment to learning from other members of the team

Alphabets Nursery requires all team members to maintain Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

**Salary Details**

£7.49-£11.01 per hour
