We have an opportunity for a talented individual to join our maritime team based at our offices in Llandudno Junction, this is very much a busy operational role and together with the operations team is critical in the delivery of the business objectives.

Responsibilities of the role:

- Manage the allocated vessel crew scheduling and rotation planning.
- Ensure crew allocated to vessels have the required competence and certification.
- Identify potential gaps in the crew rota and make suitable plans to manage.
- Make financial decision in line with the applicable budgets.
- Oversee/organise travel arrangements, which could be within the UK or Europe.
- Regular contacts with port agents in respect of crew changes.
- Coordinate crew activities between vessel and assigned superintendents.
- Point of contact for all crew related queries for your assigned vessels.
- Be part of the recruitment team, when required attending interviews with potential new crew.

Required Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within a maritime environment would be advantageous.
- Proven competence in planning and problem solving situations.
- Microsoft or personnel management software essential.

- Be able to prioritise work load to meet deadlines and deliver maximum operational efficiency.
- Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to work using own initiative and as part of a team, ability to react at short notice changes to suit operational requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems in a structured manner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
