To efficiently manage the store facility for Joinery and the building materials and equipment for our trade teams. To manage all plant and materials to maximise efficiency and reduce waste by ensuring orders are pre prepared and available for collection at the agreed time. To be responsible for the operation, order and cleanliness of the yard and storage facilities, including the management and maintenance of facilities, plant and equipment.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**

**GOODS IN & DISPATCH**
- To manage and record goods in, taking receipt of and checking all goods against delivery tickets
- To file and distribute all paperwork to do with deliveries
- To be the primary person to load and unload and store incoming and outgoing materials, plant and equipment

**STOCK & STORES**
- To maintain stock levels by process internal orders and requests, preparing goods for collection or dispatch
- To sort, clean and repurpose incoming construction materials
- To sort, clean, repair, service and maintain plant and equipment
- To undertake annual stock take

**YARD & FACILITIES**
- To be responsible for the maintenance of the yard including cleanliness, safety, health and environmental management.
- To take responsibility for the safe use of the yard forklift, including daily inspections, maintenance and cleaning,
- To manage and maintain vehicle consumables, diesel fuel tank, including cleaning, stock levels, user authorisations (fobs), servicing and maintenance

**HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT**
- To risk assess and manage potential H & S hazards to comply with risk assessments, safe systems of work and industry standards
- To assess and manage environmental matters to minimise impact of activities

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & BEHAVIOUR**
- General knowledge of building materials and related disciplines
- Ability to carry out duties within Health, Safety and Environmental Guidelines
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual work
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management skills
- Full UK driving licence - essential
- Positive can-do attitude
- To be honest, reliable and flexible

**WORKING HOURS**
- 45 hours 15 minutes (45.25 hours) per week, 07:00 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday, 07:00 - 16:00 Friday
