Your Potential Role
IT Support Analyst, Reading
Long Term Contract
£13.16 per hour
Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
- Take ownership of tickets assigned
- Support all Microsoft desktop operating systems
- Ensure that tickets get resolved within the respective service level agreements
- Move and setup of working environment with connection of screens, printers, and other peripherals
- Provide Hands & Eyes Multi-Functional printer support
- General hardware troubleshooting (desktop and iDevices)
- General troubleshooting on all IT related equipment (Desktops, Laptops, iPads & iPhones)
- Respond to and resolve support calls from remote sites (if applicable)
- Respond to and resolve support callsvia remote connection (if required)
- Assist customers telephonically
- Remote administration of workstations and mobile
- Execute orders and follow up service and repairs with external suppliers
- Identify possible risks or problems and escalate to relevantmanager
- Travel to remote sites (if required)
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required
- Excellent communications skills
- Working knowledge of Active Directory administration: resetting passwords, disabling and deleting users
- Experience with the configuration and administration of Office 365
- Experience with logging and following up calls with external suppliers and service providers
- Excellent knowledge of hardware components and hardware troubleshooting procedures (desktop and mobile devices)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft desktop operatingsystems and desktop software
- Driver's license and own transport an advantage (if relevant)
- A minimum of two years desktop support experience.
