Cctv Operative

Recroot are looking for a CCTV Operative to join our client based with Havering Council.

Enhanced DBS Required

12 hours shifts (days and nights) 7 days on and 7 days off

**Main Purpose of the Job / Key Objectives**:
Provision of a professional CCTV monitoring service. Ensuring the public space CCTV System is monitored in accordance with its objectives and to maintain the integrity, security, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained at all times by compliance with legislative requirements regarding data management, including Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 **(RIPA).**

**Job Context**:
1. The post holder reports to the Senior CCTV Officer.

2. The post holder has no line management responsibility.

3. The post holder has no Financial/Resources responsibility.

**Experience**:

- Experience of working effectively under pressure
- Experience of working in a CCTV environment.
- Experience of working with partner agencies.
- Using various communication methods, including Radio’s.

**Qualifications**
- Evidence of a commitment to continuing professional development.
- Good standard of English.
- Control Room Operator Training is desirable.

**Working conditions/circumstances**
- Work a 24 hour, 7 day a week shift pattern.
- Work at any of the Council's CCTV monitoring centers.
- Ability to accurately and consistently follow instructions without close supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with emergency services and members of the public.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £14.34-£19.07 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
