Part time dispenser required for 25 hours at friendly village GP Surgery

To provide prompt, efficient and accurate dispensing of medication to patients of St Agnes and Mount Hawke Surgery.

Applicants will understand the need for discretion and confidentiality at all times relating to patients and staff.

Provision of holiday/sickness cover for colleagues will feature.

Ensure drugs are stored in an appropriate manner.

Make certain that refrigerated items are stored at the appropriate temperature and maintain a temperature control record/log book.

Maintain full and accurate records of all dispensing transactions.

Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Health and Safety at work and Practice Policy.

Report significant events/near misses as per practice policy.

Recent experience of working in a dispensary or pharmacy healthcare setting is desirable.

Relevant dispensing/ pharmacy qualification to NVQ 2 is essential.

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.96 per hour
