Residential Property Inspector

We are Looking for an experienced property inspector to join a well-established local team managing a portfolio of approximately 500 rented freehold and leasehold residential properties in and around the Portsmouth Area. In the role of Residential Property Inspector, you will be expected to:

- Organise and conduct property inspections.
- Create reports from the visits detailing the condition of the premises and highlighting any maintenance issues or deficiencies that the landlord must attend to.
- Send reports to landlords and arrange any necessary quotes and remedial work as required.
- Raising works orders for contractors and keep records.
Respond promptly to all maintenance communications from Landlords, Tenants and Contractors.
- Log keys out to contractors.
- Oversee works instructed and liaise with tenants to ensure quality and finish of completed works.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with clients; tenants, landlords and contractors.
- Work as part of a close-knit team and be willing to help out in other aspects of the business when colleagues are on leave
- To be part of out of hours on call rota as emergency point of contact.
- A minimum of three years of industry experience
- Own transport and full drivers licence is essential.
- Competent IT skills
- High standard of communication
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise high-volume, time-sensitive workloads.
- Up-to-date knowledge on decent homes standards and HHSRS along with relevant Propertymark or ARMA qualifications

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
