Business Development Representative

Furniture Hospitality Project Shop-Fitting customer experience
Quite simply, this is a fantastic opportunity.
With more than 20 years' experience, my client is a leading supplier of contract furniture to the hospitality, healthcare, leisure and workplace sectors, and are renowned for quality.
Duties will include:
- Identification of new business opportunities within specific locations through social media channels or otherwise and creating a first point of contact
- Identification of new business opportunities and wider scope through enquiries
- Ensure that target accounts are identified
- Making cold calls where appropriate
- Arrange and attend face to face meetings with clients with focus placed on diary organisation to maximise number of meetings and minimise costs.
- Showcase the Furniture offering by phone or in person with our client message at the core
- Attendance of networking events
- Share marketplace innovations digitally, in person or by phone
- Inform marketing team of any appropriate commercial news within weekly meeting
- Assisting Client Experience Director with large projects where needed
- Communicating with suppliers and negotiating pricing
- Raising quotations
- Communicating with clients with a 'call first' approach
- Raising and confirming purchase orders with suppliers
- Completing effective project handovers from sales to project management
- Communicating with clients post project for project imagery
- Assist with inbound enquiries to aid the internal sales team in times of high levels of enquiry
