We have an opportunity available for a **Warehouse & Stores Team Leader** to join us based in **Bridgwater**. You will join us on a **full time, permanent basis** and in return, you will receive a **competitive salary.**

**Monmouth Scientific Limited**was established in 2004 and has been expanding ever since.Today we directly employ over 80 people, and as a member of The SDI Group, a PLC specialising in the Scientific industry, we are part of a larger groupof over 200 employees, which is growing rapidly.We have a very diverse but niche range of Fume Containment products, Clean Air systems and bespoke Air Handling equipment, which we install, calibrate, service and maintain all over the UK and ROI.

**Summary of duties and responsibilities of the Warehouse & Stores Team Leader will include**:

- Preparing goods for despatch, including wrapping & crating
- Organising dispatch with 3rd party couriers, ie UPS, Relay with correct documentation attached and updating Sage system
- Managing goods in, ensuring stock is good quality and as per delivery notes
- Unloading/Loading delivery vehicles.
- Ensure all picking lists are completed on a daily basis.
- Managing stores issuing including kitting lines are completed timely by stores staff.
- Improving procedures in stores, ensuring locations are accurate and stock is stored and picked correctly.
- Creating and maintaining training matrix for current and new team members. i.e forklift licencing
- To help identify areas for cost reduction through better processes and efficiencies
- Managing and partaking in monthly stock takes, updating sage with accurate figures and reporting discrepancies to senior management
- Managing staff including annual leave, sickness, 1-2-1/quarterly reviews and development needs
- Undertaking other adhoc duties, tasks and general Company activities deemed necessary from time to time as we may reasonably expect or require (such as providing holiday and sickness cover)
- Assisting when necessary with loading and unloading of Company vans for Service Engineers, pre and post jobs, and carrying and moving goods accordingly
- Taking responsibility for Forklifts & Pump Trucks, cleaning and inspecting regularly to ensure safe working practices
- To regularly check and inspect Racking and other Warehouse storage in line with Company procedures, and filling in relevant paperwork to demonstrate compliance
- Adhering to all Health & Safety Policies issued by the Company at all times

**Key skills & personal attributes we are looking for in our Warehouse & Stores Team Leader**:
**Essential**
- Forklift Licence
- GCSE (or equivalent) Grade “C” in English Language and Mathematics
- Basic Microsoft skills, inc excel
- Experience of internal Stock systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with high personal standards and a ‘driven’ approach to work
- Proven team leadership experience

**Desirable**
- Sage 200 & Sicon experience
